How to choose

• Check the vintage on the label; light white and rosé wines are best enjoyed within one to three years, while oak-aged reds benefit from extra bottle ageing.
• Make sure the bottle is leak-free, the fill level is high, and the cork is not pushed upwards.
• Look for a clear colour and a clean aroma without hints of vinegar, wet cardboard, or rotten eggs.
