Terms of Service

Farmsy is a directory that helps consumers find local farms and direct-to-consumer food producers in the Netherlands and Belgium. The platform is operated by Farmsy and is available at farmsy.app.

You may use Farmsy to:

• Browse and search farm listings — free, no account needed
• Get directions to farms — free, no account needed
• See a farm’s full details: phone, website and address (Farmsy Pro)
• Save farms and plan trips (Farmsy Pro)
• Add a farm shop to the map (account needed)
• Correct or claim a listing — through our contact page

You may not use the platform to scrape listings in bulk, republish data without attribution, or misrepresent a farm you do not own or operate.

Browsing the map — farm locations, categories and opening hours — is free. Farmsy Pro is a paid plan that opens each farm’s full details (phone, website, address) and adds saved farm lists and further tools as we release them. Two options are available: a Yearly plan at €29.99 per year, or Lifetime access for a one-time €49.99 payment. All prices include VAT.

There is no introductory free trial. You are charged when you subscribe. Free months earned through our referral programme are applied before your first charge.

The Yearly plan renews automatically each year until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your subscription page — your access continues until the end of the current billing period, and you will not be charged again. Lifetime access is a single payment with no renewal.

Payments are processed securely by Stripe; we never store your full card details. As a consumer in the EU you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of purchase — contact us within that period and we will refund you in full. After 14 days, fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.

Farm data is sourced from OpenStreetMap, Foursquare, Overture Maps, Traces, and voluntary farmer submissions. We aim for accuracy but cannot guarantee that all listing information is up to date. Always confirm opening hours and availability directly with the farm before visiting.

Farm owners may claim their listing to update information. By claiming a listing you confirm that you are authorised to represent that business and that the information you provide is accurate.

Creating an account is free. When you register we ask for your name, country, and email address. Date of birth and postal address are optional; you can add them if you want to, but the service works without them. Please keep whatever you do provide accurate. An account lets you add a farm shop and contact us; a paid Farmsy Pro plan unlocks the features listed above as Pro. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure, and we may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Map data is © OpenStreetMap contributors, licensed under the Open Database Licence (ODbL). Other content on the platform is © Farmsy unless otherwise stated.

Farmsy is provided “as is”. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of the platform, inaccurate listing information, or unavailability of the service.

We may update these terms as the platform evolves. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the platform after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
